440 Source Repro 6qt Oil Pans

Just used that pick up in a stock 6 pack pan and it was close, just a little heat and bending

I've used a couple of the 440 Source 6 quart pans. No problems at all.

Got one on mine now. A bargain for the price.

Did you have to tweak your pickup or did you get a specific pick up?
They'll try to sell you a pickup with the pan. You don't need it - the stock pickup works fine,
since the pan is the same depth as the stock pan (it gets the additional capacity via horizontally
bigger sizing).

EDIT: I gave the wrong link before. Here's the right one, including pics...
Here's my thread on the festivities when I bought mine:

I don’t see the 200-1123 listed on their site. Was it discontinued?

Anyone know if the Hemi pans are 5+1 or 6+1 total capacity?
I could never get a solid answer.
The way the ad is written, it leans towards 6+1.

Great question

As I run the 402 Pan on my 432 Stroker

That would BEE 4 Quarts + 1 factory

However I just run 5 Quarts + 1 with the factory windage tray with zero zero issues on the street

Thanx

I see what you did there.

I called them years ago and asked the same question. Was told 6 quarts total including the filter.

I run the hemi pan on my 440
(re-pop from Mancini)
6 quarts including the filter

initially the oil read a little low on the dipstick (after market chrome job)
so I trimmed the dipstick tube off until the fill mark lined up with the oil mark
