Getting close to buttoning up the wiring on the car, but realizing I don't have any clear picture on how to wire up the distributor. I currently have:
- 440 Source Street Distributor
- Pertronix Flame Thrower 1.5 ohm, 40,000V coil (I think this recommends bypassing ballast resistor)
- Reproduction engine bay harness
The dizzy has a red and a black wire. One has a ring terminal and the other has a spade connector. Not by the car at the moment, but I think the red has the spade, and the black has the small ring. The page on 440 Source specifically says "no external ignition box is required", so I really just think it is just the spade connector throwing me off. Can anyone with this distributor confirm that it works like any other? Just connect the two ring terminals from the harness to the coil, and the two wires from the dizzy to the coil (after changing the spade out to a ring) like normal?
