5.7 Hemi - 2012 Durango. Absolutley no problems for 85,000 miles. Check engine light comes on and it's running rough.

Dealer just called. Getting new cam and lifters. He says he is starting to see this on older 5.7

Covered under 100,000 mile warranty thank God.

Anybody else had an issue. Might be time to trade it in which would be too bad, it's been a great car

I have a 2007 Ram 1500 with the 5.7L, 265,000 miles. For the most part, it has been a great truck.
At 52,000 miles though, one of the MDS lifters (Cylinder 4) failed. They had to pull the head to get to the lifter, pull the piston to hone the cylinder and install new rings. I had some bullshit non factory warranty that tried like hell to deny the claim on the basis that the oil wasn't changed often enough. The problem was not related to oil changes one bit, it was a defective mechanical part. They ended up covering it.
At around 100,000 miles, I had to change the EGR valve.
At 175,000, the LH front wheel bearing went bad.
I've had to resurface and replace the rotors at about every 30,000 miles on average.
I have changed the oil and the ATF & filter on schedule, the differential too.
Early this week, the transmission shift solenoid failed. I looked on youtube for tips on replacing it. For $240 I got the part, then swapped it in myself.

i Have a 2004 ram 5.7 188,000 miles Zero issues have always run full synthetic and changed my oil at 10,000-15,000 miles
