Jeez....sure looks like retirement at 65 may not have been that common back then. Honestly looked like they had decent jobs....hard to walk away from good money.
Love what you do, you never work a day in your life. I replaced a guy at an electrical parts sales house a few years ago, they forced him to retire, at 82 he was still kicking !

Not complaining, as I have very much to be grateful for, but I have been in the concert business 52 years, always was my own boss, looked forward to going to work every single day, traveled the world, and worked with a lot of interesting people. Had 17 semi's of equipment, and then covid hit, and did 2 concerts in next 4 years and decided it was time to quit, in good health, until out of the blue, 7 weeks ago that all changed.
Enjoy every day, there are no guarantees.

I didn’t think you were complaining, I was just stating some people retire as soon as they can, some people just keep going.

That sounds like it was a fun job!
 
I see that the photo with the hemi..is not your car. At some point I may want to update my 62 to power brakes. my at this point has mauual disc up front.
no. thats from a guy that wanted me to price/buy it...lol
