The '62 Plymouth is the car that cost Virgil Exner his job at Chrysler.

As a 62 Plymouth owner, I think the 62 Dodge is a better looking car. I like the quarter panel detail better, as well as the taillights. But don't get me wrong. I've had my 62 for 40 years, and I love em.

Love them both, its like picking between two of your children. Depends on which one is acting up or not! LOL.

I think I like the '62 Plymouths better. They just look a bit cleaner on the sides. Grill and tail lights are better, too. I really prefer the Plymouth gauge cluster to the plain Dodge one.

I got a banana shifter!

Technically for the 3 speed, but part of my vision for the interior.

Hits the dash, have to modify. Plan to use bottom hole in handle in the top shifter hole, weld a piece on for the bottom hole.

This will give the angle needed, without heating until red hot and bending.

Btw, I've done everything in this interior myself, so no big deal.

Can't wait, just need the time.

Recently? That sounds cheap enough!

April 16, 2025

If you look on the BAT site at the pictures, there's quite a bit of touch up work to do. Low mileage fetched that price more than likely.

The "Beford Cord" headliner is still in good shape for the exception of two small holes. Another good time capsule for references.

Took her to a small car show this weekend, with the new hubcaps and whitewalls.
