Getting ready to upgrade my 64 Fury Convertible (318 Auto) suspension....not a hot rod but she really runs great.

I am planning a minor upgrade to the front with all new bushings and maybe tubular control arms.

The rear springs are shot....are there any recommendations for a moderately priced upgrade? Four link etc?

Forget the 4 link. 4 links are pro street and race. Just get some quality rear springs and good shocks. Keep it simple.

For springs, try here.
1964 - 1965 Dodge, Plymouth rear leaf spring, 6 leaf

The rest of it is pretty easy to source. For joints/bushings/arms etc, try Craig. @mobileparts

Get some shocks and torsion bars too. Also easy b-body stuff. Since it's a ragtop, have you looked at doing frame connectors? Do you have power steering or manual? If p/s, there are some upgrades possible there too.

I driven B body convertibles with and without subframe connectors. Connectors help on a H/T. But they really help on a convertible. Totally eliminates cowl shake. A friend of mine had an ex drag car Fury convertible with connectors. I built him a Max wedge style 440 with a 5 speed manual and a 3.55. Car was a blast to drive. Also built a 440 for a friends 70 Coronet R/T convertible. No connectors. It drives good, but not as solid as the 64. Both a very nice cars.

Has anyone tried Cal Trac mono leafs without the bars?
Mike
I do, and they work great. More of a bracket car. @GTX JOHN has as well and endorses. Although they're probably the best choice leaf, I'm not sure everyone is sold on the mono look.

Our 70 Duster (Project Hot Rod car years ago) ran
10s with just the mono springs (6.60 Eight mile).

The bars are noisy on a streetcar but do help consistency
and ease of tuning the suspension.

The goal was to build the lightest possible stock chassis/body
car that was street legal and mild enough to drive regularly.

It got down to 2365LBs as street legal and driven on the street less driver.

My son still drives and races it regularly with the same configuration and
running gear. He has won the LVMS track championship and dozens of
bracket races with it plus a bunch of high dollar street races.

Consider front and rear sway bars. And Bilstien shocks. The combination will make you smile.
