Dumb question but could a 1967 Coronet 440 come with a 383 or was the only engine option a 6 cyl and 318??

Thanks

coronet 440 model did NOT come with a 440 motor from the factory. No coronet 440 model with an "L" code for engine. The hemi WAS an option but the 440 came ONLY with a base ordered R/T....even the coronet 500 came with up to a 383...no 440 in a coronet 500

The only exception "could" be highway patrol cars....police..... those would be 4 doors and not offered to the general public.

I have a 1967 Coronet 440, with a factory hemi.

I would also question the availability of the 361 in 67 it may have been offered as a truck engine but the last year for passenger cars was 66?

Agree

1966 = LAST year for the 361 in cars.

It continued in medium and heavy trucks and motorhome chassis through 1978. It was not a D/W100/200/300 option.
