Finally putting my 6 pack on and I am having a hard time building and routing the line from he pump to carb , the only pic I have seen shows the fuel line run around the dist is this the only way? Anyone have pictures of how there fuel line runs up to the carb?? Any photos would be appreciated !

Here, try this picture. The fuel line from the carb needs to come roughly straight out with a slight bend to clear the dizzy then goes straight down toward the fuel pump. This setup is using the original vapor canister, as does mine, and I have no clearance issues.

on the center carb, there are two nipples for hoses , upper and lower, i assume the lower is for pcv , what is the upper one for? looks like the would fit a 3/8 hose

I've got mine plugged and noticed no adverse effects. I noticed other guys have it plugged it also (two of the posted pics show plugs).

the cap in the pic i posted does have a small hole in it. all factory center carbs had some kind of bowl vent. 69-70 vented to the atmosphere and 71 to a breather cap(?) or canister.

Hmmm......I knew they were vented somewhere, but didn't really want to vent to atmosphere, but think I will poke a small hole in my cap now. Thanks for the tip!

Out of curiosity, why don't you just buy what is needed from either Fine Lines or a similar supplier. There sre two components available: from the fuel vapor seperator to the carbs, including the around the distributor (origional Prestolite dual point distributor) line, all Tees, inverted flare nuts, all Tees to carbs. And the second set, from the fuel pump discharge to the vapor seperator. These are all 5/16" steel line and Weathead fittings just as origionally furnished. IMO...3/8" lines are not needed. These are exactly what I've used on my RS23V0A****** GTX. They are relatively inexpensive at ~ $ 40.00 for everything except the Keystone clamps and the 2 short sections of hose for the vapor seperator and fuel pump connections. Just my opinion of course.
