My wife and I just spent all weekend finally getting my son's birthday present upon the wall. A good friend supplied all the parts that he had left over from his resto. My son (about to be 4), picked out the dark green color. I put LED puck lights in the lenses to light up. We plan on putting a shelf on top, so he can display his collection of mopar cars!

That is so great. I want one over my bed. That's a great way to start 'em down the mopar path. Well done.

That looks great! I'm going to do the exact same thing for my little boy this year.

I might have an extra set of quarter panel end pieces if you need them. Let me know and I can take a look for you.

Make the shelf look like the trunk lid from the front lip, obviously FLAT for the shelf part..

That looks killer!

Great job on that. Your son is lucky to have parents this cool. And you can never start them to early on Mopars.

best looking a$$ Mopar ever made too

Thank you ewolfe. The quarter end pieces were the one thing my buddy didn't have, if you find an extra set send me a message. I used 1/2 diameter steel pipe and flange from the plumming section in Lowe's or HD. Bolted one flange to the concrete block and then the other flange to a 2x4. I held the 2x4 to the bumper with longer carriage bolts fron the hardware store. The tail panel still have some of the trunk gutter so I used shelving brackets and drilled a hole in the gutter and bolted it to the bracket and for extra security also ran a flange/pipe to the back of the tailpanel. I got the 2.5 inch led puck lights and took them apart to just wires and led and fed them through the back of the lamp assym, then put them back together. No cutting needed.

Great idea. I would love to have one of those hanging in my shop.
