Putting a classic air heat/air unit in my 68 road runner. Been looking at the dash, thinking it would be “cool” to put the a/c vents in the factory air locations. Would take a steady hand with the cut off wheel and die grinder for the outboard locations, but the real challenge is putting it through the center of the dash like Mopar did. Looks like I can use the vent lovers from classic for all these, but without the factory center frame not sure if it’s do able. Anyone try this or have any experience ? I will likely just mount the vents under the dash like classic recommend. Thanks for any input !

Why don't you just buy some A/C dash panels?
Still have to cut holes in the metal part of dash to fit them in, and I don’t find any reproduction vents, only old original. And big $ , too !
