69 Charger door lock problems

Trying to figure out why when I turn my door key it doesn't unlock or lock. I can see the door knob rise a little but not enough to lock or unlock the door. To much play? What to I need to adjust here? Pics would be very helpful.

Sounds like the car is in need of repair.. Ill buy it at scrap price.. Just kidding. You may need to open the door panel and look and see if its binding. Or at the very least shoot some graphite in there..

The key does turn in both directions just very little happening.

Carefully remove the door panel using the proper tool and inspect that the rod between the lock cylinder and the lock is connected.

Did that. everthing looks connected as it should.

Have someone work the key while you watch, either a hole is worn out or more likely something sticking& needs freed up. Either way lube everything up before going back together.

Check the arm on the lock cylinder and the end of the lock cylinder. It is designed to rotate freely when the lock knob is used but must still function with the key.
I have never seen one worn out but anything is possible.

I think I need to bend the linkage to shorten it.
