69 Charger trunk weatherstrip location?

Hey guys, I've got the Metro Super soft weather strip and the 3M Black sealant ready to go. My question, does the weatherstrip ride in the deep groove or inside the groove closer to the edge of the trunk opening?

If anyone had a photo of their trunk weatherstrip that would be awesome!
