'69 Roadrunner aftermarket intake

Thanks for the replies. If I can get 3/4" (.75") difference running the 440 base plate then the Torker 383 does fit since there is only .27" difference from the stock intake and the Torker (4.60" - 3.44" = .27"). It would appear then that we can add the Torker 383 to the list of intakes that can be used with the air grabber hood. I really wish I could find someone that has done this to be 100% that it fits. I hate to have to buy the intake just to turn around and sell it.
I dug through my pics from when I went through this. Stock original 383 baseplate vs. PG Classics 440 reproduction. I set them both on their horn on a gallon paint can and measured from there to the top of the flat bar. The 440 base gave me an additional 5/8", no more. The Torker you are looking at 4.60" - 3.75" / 2 = 4.18" tall, so 3/4" taller than a stock intake. This will fit under your ductwork if using a 440 baseplate.

Thanks so much for getting back to me. I really appreciate the pictures. Now it is off to find either a Torker 383 or a Holley Dominator along with 440 base plate.

A Edelbrock TM6 will also work, and from what I read, guys like them better than the newer Torkers. I can't give first hand experience on that though.

I think I have a Torker that fits b engine. If you are interested please pm me and I will confirm.
