I posted a very similar post a while back, but never really got an answer. I am looking for the cross (connector) springs for the upper seat backs. Tried a few spring suppliers, but nobody had what I was looking for. Is there any alternative to Springs? These are what I am looking for. There is a total of 24 per seat back. So I would need a total of 48. The springs are approximately 3 1/2 - 4 inches long x 1/2 diameter.
Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I am not sure if they would be the same......

I ordered McMaster Carr compression springs and made my own for my 68 Road Runner.
Part number 9662K22, 36" long .500 OD .404 ID
I bought 6 packs and replaced most of mine three years ago. Just need to cut to length you need. Holding up great.

If anybody has any, that can be used, let me know. Most all of mine were rusted out and were just too brittle I could not use them.

These are the springs I went with. Worked out perfectly. These have to be as close to original as there is. Thank you again for all the help.
