71 GTX hood release cable clip

Putting the last details on my car and just put in the hood release cable and hood latch mechanism. It looks like there should be a clip to attach the cable to the lower part of the latch. What does it look like and where can i find one?

Could you provide some detailed pictures of the cable routing & what hole is used in the firewall, friend of mine is putting his 72 RR back together & is uncertain,taken apart many years ago.

Sorta tough to see, touching the cable with my flat blade. Comes out of the fire wall under the master cylinder closer to the fender.
