`72 Charger SE low miles

...or maybe loose the headroom.

I wanted a S/R car really bad but when I actually got one I found out I really needed the nearly 2" of headroom the S/R assembly takes away :(

I am 5'10 and my Step Dad is 6'4" we had plenty of room. The cassette hangs less than an inch lower IRL.

I'm 6'3" with a long spine.

Even with the spacers removed, my head nearly rubs the headliner in my 73.

I've been this tall since I was 14 (was 6'2" at 12).

I noticed back then that 60s and 70s Mopars seemed to have a bit more headroom that fomoco or gm products, and that bit was enough for me to either fit or not fit.

One of the reasons I became a Mopar guy.

The first thing I do every time I get a new Mopar is take those dang spacers out.
(although I'm glad they are there to be removed)

It saddened me greatly when the engineers abandoned the "extra headroom" designs in the 80's and 90's.

My '15 jeep Renegade however, has TONS of headroom.

I wish someone would pay me minimum wage to work on that car.
