I paid $2,500 for my 73 about the same condition.

Factory Petty blue car, buckets and console, rallye dash, new firm feel steering box, and doesn't need a ton of metal replacement. It's a running drivable car, not a $1000 engineless rustbucket. I'd say $4000ish. It's not mine, but I know about it.

Another thing to consider how far are you going to have to truck it to get it home. Have bought sinular equipped and same year for less than 1000. So how bad do you want it and how much are you willing to spend for it and cost of putting it back together. That is what it would be worth. If buying it just to turn it please just let it sit someone will buy it and do what is right.

Couple dents. Looks a little funny in front of pass rear wheel.

Any previous bad body work to go with the bad paint job?

Frame horns OK?

Petty blue with black and white int. Bet it was pretty.

318 car.

$2500

potAto/po-tat-o = sedan/coupe = "21" VIN = rear window don't roll down.

No bearing on this thread.

72 vs 73 matter of personal opinion.
I personally think the 73/74 Satellite/RR is one of the meanest most aggressive front ends ever on a Mopar.
Also no bearing on this thread.

I paid $4500 for my 72 SSP last year. no rust, nice straight body with most body repairs already made. Interior was all there but junk. Original big block motor was just pulled, rebuilt and put back in. Was last on road in 1982.

I'm with the $2,500 crowd. I would say $4,000 for a big block car, but not a 318 car.

I like what you did with that.

There a running, driving 318 72 SSP down here in shiny GF3 with nice interior.

Worst part is front header panel is rusty.

4K

..oh, did I mention is comes with a 71 EV2 N96 Road Runner shell with clear title?

RR has hard damage to front frame horns, and SSP is "parts" car.

Imagine my surprise to visit this website and see my car as the topic for this discussion.
A car that is not particularly for sale.

Now that tweedle-dee and tweedle-dum have valued the car at $2500, I would really like them to post links to similar cars in their stated price range.
Non rust belt state cars that are either for sale or have been sold in the last year, with Rallye gauges and bucket seats.

Why anyone would bother attempting to place a value on a car with such minimal information is beyond me.
That 2 re-chromed bumpers, a mint passenger side fender are included...and a buyer would get the option to buy a 72 RR grille with brackets for $1k was omitted information.
Can anyone tell that the passenger side fender has 2 inches of cracked filler in it?
Kudos to those who did not rush to judgement....and asked for more info. Those are the more intelligent people here.
Frankly, I have never understood "WIW' threads. I find them to be fodder for the feeble minded.
With all the available information out there, why would a person not do 15 minutes of their own research to come to their own conclusions?

Mopar 3 B also makes an intelligent observation in regard to location/distance.
A great deal 1000 miles away does not mean squat if you incur $1500 of lost wages, fuel cost, and lodging expense.
I remember back in the early 2000's, I was looking for a daily driver car. I found one I liked locally, but the seller would not budge on price, which was $500 over my liking.
After taking 2 unpaid days off work to look for something else....I realized I would have been better off to pay the asking price.
For some, time means money. For others...not so much.

On this car, I paid $4k for it 3-4 years ago. Again, about $500 above what I really wanted to pay, but it was 35 miles from my house.
That it was so close made the deal acceptable.
That the seller had just put a significant amount of money into the car mechanically also was a consideration
Front end rebuilt, new heads, timing chain, edelbrock 4 bbl intake, and new Holley carb.
I am not about to travel, take 2-3 days off work and lose 3 days of revenue to my business.....over $500
Back then, I looked for a 72 Satellite for a month or two. Most of what I saw in the $2000 and less range were more or less parts cars.
My observation back then was that $2500 might get a semi running 318 car with bench seat and standard gauges.
Others experiences may vary.
