833 4speed gear oil

Another vote for Sta-Lube gl4. Can't go wrong with the right stuff.....Brewers Performance has never steered me wrong.
 
They make gear lube not steering gear.
Their stuff works, I'm sure but it's old school. Doesn't mean it's bad but to say you can't use GL-5 in a transmission is no longer entirely true.
 
Well to be honest the gl-4 has some of the same stuff as gl-5, just less. It is also said that high temperature is part of the reason gl-5 attacks brass. So maybe that is not a problem, it might be a great oil for the overdrives, that I could see.

The new stuff doesn't.
Notice one of the links I posted is for a GL-5 made just for MoPar 4 speeds.
It doesn't attack non ferrous metals.
And being a synthetic it reduces friction, therefore reduces heat.
