A-833 input shaft play

Just cleaning up the trans to go back in the car. Noticed there is a little play on the input shaft. Normal?

Little play is normal for them.

Yes - that what you get with ball bearings - a little wiggle - no harm.

When the tip of the shaft is supported in the back of the crank, all will be well.
