A little different twist ... has anyone went to EFI and regretted it?

Pro Flo 4. Brain on the firewall. No heat issues.

It appears the PF4 may not handle all 1146 horsepower of my street car

Sorry..... I mean 600ish :)

Thanks everyone I am still debating - reading up on some of the holley forums now, and checking into possible wiring issues. Seems much of the issues relate to some RFI/EMI issues and poor wiring and charging system.

So that is something to add to this consideration as well..... you know - buy once, cry once

Received this as a gift from my shop guys. They keep busting my balls to install it. I show it here only because it's been mentioned a few times. Thoughts on the externally mounted fuel sump rather than a new tank with integral pump? All the other parts come with the package. If I do decide to pull the trigger perhaps I'll keep a few spare parts on hand to address the concerns some here have mentioned about being stranded due to component failure?

Honestly I like this set up much better than the TBI for just the efficiency of the system. However it wont support the HP of my set up. Not that mine is crazy, but it is 505 inches, roller motor that is street driven. It may work just fine for this current set up, but when its time for a freshen up the CR will get increased as well as some better flowing heads.

I believe you can get injectors that handle increased PSI. Would that upgrade along with refining the system tune do what you are looking for or is that too simplistic a solution?

Honestly I have no idea - I am new to all of this. But that would be a simple solution for sure

Don't do it. These sumps have little fuel, get hot sitting in the engine compartment, and actually add complexity. I have heard many with issues that have tried them.
I believe strongly that if you are going to do fuel injection, do it right. Ditch the external fuel sump and get a fuel tank with an internally mounted pump. Along with that, route a supply and return line.
