Well like all new guys I'll ask my first Question.... Just bought a 1976 dodge charger Daytona... The forgotten year and I can't find any information on removing the steering wheel and ignition switch removal to replace. Tilt steering. I will get pics up ASAP. Ive always wanted one of these since my Dad had 1 when I was a kid and just happened to find one!!!

Welcome! I can't help out on your question. I'm sure someone will be able to!

Welcome.

You may want to post your question in a another area as not everyone will see it here.

Hi, and welcome to the forum. A '76 Daytona, wow I remember when they were brand new. If I was in your shoes, my first purchase would be a factory service manual, because that steering column won't be the only thing you'll want to work on.

By all means, pictures please! What engine?

Welcome from Minnesota and I also think a factory service manual is a must...good luck.

Yeah, pics are nice.

Back around 1990, a friend had a two tone burgundy 77 Daytona. 360, and loaded with 15" rallyes, buckets and console, tuff wheel, and all sorts of power options.

Somewhat underpowered, but real nice car.

Can't seem to upload pics from phone I'll do it when I get home.. So more info in mine... 1976 charger daytona red inside and out 400 with 4 barrel dual exhaust no cats for that model but have the lean burn something or other I'm researching now lol. Picked up extremely cheap ownerost keys but worked a little majic made sure it turned over. Just got the new ignition in but can't get that little clip back in to put it all together. Very little rust other than surface pretty clean inside but needs a new radiator. More info later and hopefully some pics. Thanks for the great welcome everybody!!!!!
