I started doing research to add air conditioning to my 74 Roadrunner. I need to take my dash off to have it painted and I figure that this would be as good of a time as any. I came across 2 different options.
This one:
http://www.classicautoair.com/mopar_air_conditioning_mopar_ac.html
and this one:

I understand that Classic Auto Air doesn't list AC for a 74 RR, but they say that they can do with slight mods. Does anyone have any experience with either company? Is one version better than the other?

Classic Auto Air, Tampa. Ice cold for 9 years. Improved controls recently. NOT a 74, but see CoronetDarter and other builds.

Had my classic auto air system for 2 years. Blows cold air, no problems. Easy install, great customer service (I needed extra parts as I cleaned up my dash).

I would assume that there are also different sizes of air boxes under the dash? What's the smallest, most compact unit?
