Today, my wife and I have been
married for 48 years.
Sept 6, 1975. Both 20 years old at the
time. I couldn't begin to imagine my
life without her by my side.

And what is truly amazing, it's the one
and only time I've ever worn a tie.

A great marriage is a beautiful thing. Congratulations!
I'd be lost without my Mary beside me.

Yep....a good woman is hard to find these days......at least one that will put up with our hobby.

Ticked over 31 years last week here. :bananadance:

31 years is impressive these days.
My wife's standing request.....
She gets first ride when the hot rods
are done.

Right on, keep on going! 44 years for me and my wife, I know the feeling. :)
Hey, you can wear a tie again for your 50th! :)
Let me straighten that picture out a bit...

Call it destiny? Just so happens our
anniversary coincides with the
current builds crusibility. Main
street, here we come!
I do believe a stop a Sonic is in
order for a shake.

Do you remember or do you have pictures of the car that you drove away in after your ceremony, the one with “Just Married”?

I've had 3 days running when Father's Day falls on September 1st.

Our anniversary coincides with the tragic death of Princess Diana. Happened on our 5th.
This will be the first year I can remember that the local news didn't even mention her name.

I've got a pic but it's hard copy. I'll
thumb thru the photo album to
find it and snap a cel pic.
It was a 1967 Ford Galaxy.

I have to ask....did you get married in a bus, or was the building incredibly small with a very low ceiling?

Hard to explain, but ceiling was normal
height of 8'. The wedding took place
in a small chapel within the churches
overall structure, used primarily for
smaller weddings.
I was poor back then....../s
