Aftermarket or late model seats in Early B body cars

can you share how you mounted them and if you had any challenges?

Well as luck would have it the outer mounts by the rocker panels from the original split bench lined up with the buckets seats outer mounts. just had to drill the inner stud holes close to the trans. tunnel and reinforce with a titanium plate under the floor pan. Seat belt mounts on either side of the tunnel stayed original.
 
I put these 1984 5th Ave seats in my 65 Coronet
