Anyone with experience with the chrome “1/2 moon “ style aftermarket shrouds? Do they actually work?

If you want to add some classic style to your Mopar, these half-moon shrouds absolutely "work" for that purpose. Just be aware that their original anti-glare function is largely a thing of the past, and you might lose a little visibility with older lighting systems. For most enthusiasts, the aesthetic benefit is the primary goal.

Lol…. Probably should have been more clear…. Im speaking of radiator fan shroud

Good clarification, that's a common cosmetic mod, especially on older builds. The short answer is: they work, but not as efficiently as a full shroud, and primarily for looks.

If your car is missing its original factory fan shroud, even a half-moon version is better than having no shroud at all. A fan without a shroud is much less efficient at drawing air through the radiator at low speeds.
