Picture is from a 1970 R/T SE with F70 x15s.....does anyone know what has happened here? How can I fix this. Are the Springs just too old? They seem original but I am looking for a better "rake" angle on my car.

The space between the shock plate and spring?? Is that what you are talking about? Or are you talking about the 2" or so lowering block between the axle and spring.....?

There is big lowering block that maybe your issue if want more height in the rear
