Any CB radio experts here?

There's nobody on the CB any more.
Many trucking companies don't allow them.
Mostly its alligator bases from south of the border I assume and they talk in Spanish and its non stop. Don't know what they are saying. It might be propaganda or instructions. Who knows?

I still see plenty of big trucks with the massive antennas on the road in these parts. For the cost of an antenna setup I can have my modded radio in the truck.

Oh I see the antennas but they ain't talkin. They just listen. Ya don't even get bear reports any more.
If there is a brake check somewhere you'll hear about it but not much more.
That's why I took my radio out. Antenna is still installed if I want to put it back in.

A lot of trucker are going with VHF radios
they have greater distance and you can have more power
