Any HL door experts?

1970 Charger. When headlights are closed the motor wants to keep running. Any ideas? I understand there's a limiter in the motor. Is there an adjustment that can be made on the motor?

No joke...Tap it with a hammer. Just like a starter, the windings can get corroded and malfunction. Sometimes a few taps can work. The motors do interchange with later New Yorker and Imperials if you need a non stock replacement.
