Getting my roof ready to blast and epoxy, clearing out the rail sealer (factory I presume)... And I noticed where the roof is welded on on the driver side it is incredibly smooth but the passenger side is wavy around the spot welds? Anyone know the reason or guess why? Just curious...Thanks!

Looks like the worker on the right side of the assembly line had his spot welder heat setting and clamp pressure too high

Yep.

The passenger side guy on my Satellite did the lead work outstanding.

Driver side guy-not so much.

I've seen a few like this but no ware Neer as bad as yours . Man must have been a Friday car the guy just didn't care .

No ware neer????

...also, my 66 has stamped sheet metal speed nuts on nearly all the trim, lights and quarter extensions on the pass side.

Driver side has machined barrel nuts with captive washers (!)
