Guys, I need to paint a Chinese replacement bumper cover for one of my kids cars. Ive painted over them in the past and had adhesion problems. Seems any slight bruise and paint cracks and peels. Plan is to scuff it up and spray on an epoxy primer. Is that enough? I know they make an adhesion promoter spray for spot painting but I have never used such on a whole bumper cover. Also, Ive never painted this cold, it's 25 degrees outside now and prolly 50 in my booth, what's needed extra for that, anything besides a fast reducer. thanks...

Ask your paint supplier about flex additives to prevent cracking.

Agree with all the above. I believe 60 F is the minimum temp recommended, at least for the PPG urethane I used on a car. Even in the low 60s it will be slow to cure out and get good and hard.
