Anybody Using '68-'70 340 Hi-Performance Exhaust Manifolds?

Might use the 340 performance exhaust manifolds when I replace the factory 318 with the 340 I am building for our '72 Satellite Sebring Plus. Anyone with experience doing so before me that can give me a heads up on whether to use a 90 degree oil filter adaptor as well? Thank you.

My understanding is that HP 340 B body manifolds are extremely hard to find and expensive. The application should fit and work good.

I bought the repro 340 manifolds a few years ago and did use the right angle oil filter adapter. I have a 21/2" exhaust and use the smaller Wix filter. Although my car is a 74 Duster, so less room than a B body car.

I used HiPo 340 manifolds on my 72 with LA360 and right angle filter adapter. Was able to go with a standard size filter. I then swapped to headers without right angle and then 5.9 Magnum. No issues.
2 1/2 exhaust.

The manifolds were available in 2018, and I guess lucky I bought them at $600.

Another option is the early Magnum large port manifolds from a Dakota or Ram. The driver side "kisses" the power steering box but does fit. You'll have to use the longer bolts in the water jacket bolt holes on the heads, and it'll be a little tricky to mount the manifolds due to that, but they will fit. (The bolts act as the original studs to keep the coolant in) Passenger side is easier and you can retain direct oil filter to block. I have done this to 3 SB 73/74 b body Plymouths and I know of 1 73 Charger done this way. I recommend Reflex gaskets. Slight leak on pass side that I have yet to do the gasket addition though I have them.
