Anyone know what this is?

I unscrewed the ignition bezel on 68 coronet to remove it because i was going to change the tumbler and this fell out and is now hanging. It looks like a light bulb but not sure. Does it slide on the ignition switch before i put the bezel back on?

yep. it's an ignition light.

Comes on with dome light, then stays on a little while with a delay so you can find ignition for your key.

The bulb is easy to check, of course. The time delay was used up through the late 80's, it got plugged in to the fuse block in vans and trucks.
