I have TTI headers on my 1970 Road Runner with a 383 and 4 speed. It has power steering and power brakes. No clearance issues whatsoever.
A big issue with headers is that most manufacturers make them for big block Mopars. But there are both B and RB blocks. If you put headers that are designed for a 440 on a 383 you are likely to have issues. Want headers that just plain FIT and work? Then go TTI. Yes, they are expensive, but they are top notch. (And no, I have NO financial interest in plugging TTI, I am just a happy customer.)
I'm in the process right now. Mocked up the new Borgenson ps box and my Dougs 2" headers, tons of room!!! Its also a quicker ratio box, but be prepared to spend more than $96...
ya I know Im talking to Firm Feel ,always seems Im shooting money at the car. Nothing new. Borgenson is more expensive then firm feel. I googled everyone.
