What the hell was wrong with that guy?
Better watch out for him though, he's a legend in his own mind.....
(excerpt from email, it's just too funny not to show)

like i said my car never sees the sun. its black just like an sr-71 it looks burnt.. roll cage...airspeed indicators..the works, dont worry you will never see it.I cant believe your so ignorant. i could make a slant 6 do 150 mph, in my sleep"
Anyways, now that the last few snickers have been laughed, back to the topic,
a new tank will cost me about 300$ delivered, and 70 more or so for a new sending unit, o ring, and locking ring.
I am yard driving off of the original, but the neck can be pulled out or pushed in by hand and I am sure the spots of jb weld on the tank body are not for cosmetics. Are new necks available? Thanks for any info.
I need new tires, the tank, two new headlights, exhaust, and get the tail lights working and I should be fairly roadworthy. Maybe not with working gauges, a heater core, etc. but driving.
That reminds me, I have the body manual but not the service manual. Does the dash have to come out to remove the heater box and change the core in this? Because from what I have read you have to remove the windshield to remove the dash?!? That's a couple of bolts I sure would not be putting back in! Sort of like that one you cant reach to change the blower motor without dropping the inner fender, etc. on a gm a body.
Thanks for any info.
Now I better go hide my cars so the police don't see I own them.
