did you need a regulator with the 1723?

No regulator needed it puts out 6 PSI.

ahh nice.. i thought they were 7-8... i will probably end up with one.. the price is killin me. The cheap one i have in sounds like it has a rod knock and is going wocka wocka wocka... great stuff

Mine did too! Usually when cranking the engine over after the car has been sitting for a while you hear 1 knock per revolution coming from the fuel pump area until the car starts. It got a little quieter with the new pump but its still there a little.
