thinking about converting to a 4 speed on my 67 x
currently have a auto on the floor with consul, what kind of project would it be 105.jpg109.jpg

cutting a hole and welding a manual floor piece in the car
installing 3 pedal mechanism
running your clutch z bars unless you upgrade to a hydraulic throwout bearing
modifying driveshaft (correct me if i am wrong here)
purchasing gearbox, clutch, flywheel, shifter and new centre console if keeping it?

definetly doable though

best people to talk to about this, i think whole kit to do the swap is about $3500

Also, assuming motor is original you should be ok crank wise, late model 440s had externally balanced...would not work with 4 speed.

X2. 4 speed cars are fun to drive, but I wouldn't do it to that car. Just buy another Mopar that already has a 4 speed and give me that one.:headbang:[/QUOTE. Leave the automatic in.
