The Buick Grand National was chipped at 132 mph.
The 780 Bertone wasn't the only Volvo that had a turbo.
The faithful old "bricks" aka 240 series could be had with a turbo.
I had a 88 744T. 2.3 l 4 cyl turbo. The only way to tell it had the turbo was the T nomenclature.
They weren't boosted much and were not impressive in the hp dept.
In fact I still have the entire induction system from cold air intake, head, turbo and exhaust manifold.

Volvo says by 2025 they will no longer build gasoline or diesel powered vehicles, they are all going to be electric powered. On a side note my former boss who didn't speak very good English, said to me,my Vulva is broken, I said that way to much personal information, but you need a Gynecologist, not a mechanic! Lol

My 2018 5.7 Ram only goes so fast. While I really don't need to be speeding in that truck over a 110 mph, I'd still like the ability....for just ncase I rob a bank one day.

What does "Bertone" mean?? Ive only heard of the Fiat model..... Is that a coach company, such as Dual Ghia???

Bertone is an Italian & it is the name of His Italian Coach works studio....ie, "Body by Bertone".

I watched a lady hit the side of a moving train at about 50, she hit and bounced back slightly. Ran up to the car and she was fine, the windshield didn't even crack and both doors still opened.

The Volvo was too limp to even bloody her lip for that? Cant say I’m surprised.

Volvo's electric car is called a "POLESTAR"??? Last time I checked, a pole-star was something completely different.

There are pole dancing classes available in Las Vegas (there is nothing you can't get there), and in fact my secretary back in 2011 was taking pole dance classes. I think she was moon lighting (pun intended).

You drive one....you drive into the other.
Afaik Volvo doesn't build any diesel powered vehicles...at least for the US market.
When ABVolvo sold Volvo to Ford it was only the car division. Then Ford sold it to Geely based in China.
ABVolvo still builds heavy diesel trucks. Tso separate companies.
