Hello guys just put a new carby gasket on & now the vacuum advance is not working as i have no vacuum at the carby end i think the carby gasket hasn't got the cut outs for the timed vac ports on the base plate can someone post a picture or draw a mud map of a base plate were the ports are thanks

Pretty much self explanatory.

See circled port. That's where the factory puts vac advance on ported vacuum. There will be no vacuum there when in neutral no matter how hard you rev it.

The base gasket can't do anything to block the ported vacuum it is created internal inside the carb. The only cut outs are the 4 large holes for the throttle plates.
