I ran across the owner of my 70 Roadrunner from the early 80's and he had some pictures of it from then. Just kind of neat that he still had some laying around. Thought I would share them.

Whats is the story on the black paint on the quarter panel?
I like those wheels. That classic look is still cool.

The lower quarters had the usual B body bubbling so he did his best attempt at bodywork and spray bombed the stripes. He still has those wheels and they are on a 1967 Polara that he owns today. Here is how the car looks now. This pic is from the first time I looked at car before buying it. Notice it still has the old school Plymouth sun visor strip.

Also the quarters and trunk pan were replaced by the guy who owned from late 90's until I got it in 2016.

That's awesome! I had that very same Plymouth sun visor strip, got it a Western Auto back in the 80's. Wanted to put a new one on when I restored my car, but nobody makes them any more.

Idrive,
I'll bet you can get those made at any graphics shop around. I had the Pentastar in my back window made with a bunch of small ones for $20.00. I even had them make a Road Runner emblem for the trunk lid for a couple bucks!

Greetings, neighbor!
I'm digging that '70 post coupe'. Looks familiar, actually. Just can't put my finger on it...

Complete with sugar smacks, sugar pops and sugar frosted flakes!
