I purchased a set of Baer 13" Pro+ front brakes for my 1974 SSP. They're brand new, never installed but about 5 years old. Two questions : 1) Will the Year one 17" inch Rallye wheels fit 2) What size rear disc is appropriate?

I Used Baer 6 piston on the front Wilwood on the rear due to Wilwood having a much better mechanism steel versus Aluminium on the Baer ,2 piece brake shoes on the Wilwood versus Banksia on the Baer which i think are rubbish .
Had to use 18" with the large rotors

We installed 14" Baer brakes on a B body. IIRC Baer has a template/diagram in the footnotes of the page you select from on their website, that will help with wheel fitment.
Your 17" wheels should clear the diameter of the 13" brakes. However, the face of the wheel mounting surface and wheel side or profile of the caliper vs. the inside profile of the wheel, is the gotcha part you have to really check. I tried to get you a link, but Baer only shows back to 1973 now....

Baer brakes on this 72 with 17'' front and 18'' rear wheels. This was 20+ years ago so I don't remember much else.

Did you call Baer to ask?
Mike
I actually did call Baer and had a less than satisfactory response. The guy said just put 13" on the back. He couldn't even give me a part number for a compatible kit. I have to keep remembering these cars are getting pretty old and young guys often don't understand.
