Dwayne, they were advertised as 325 cc. Kim

The intake valves are a pretty common length. Same as a .100” long BBC, so there are plenty of diameter choices for those.
.050” between them is plenty.
The ones I had here with the 1.88/2.25’s..... they were more like .005”-.010” apart.

Yes that is pretty close, but as far as valve guide wear goes, that is 90 degrees perpendicular to the dimension between the valves.WOW....ABSOLUTELY NO MARGIN for valve guide wear....almost too close....

I did and wrote it down and don't remember where I put the pad. I haven't put the springs back on them yet so it'll be easy to measure them again....Cranky...... you ever measure the valve length in those things?
The Victor style heads use Indy length valves.
1.81 x 5.369 ex
2.20 x 5.344 int

The guy that owns them has decided to sell them and just keep the 906's that were on the engine to start with. I thought about grabbing them but thought he was going to let them go much cheaper than what he wants so I'm out of the game for that but now he wants me to sell them. Getting tired of dealing with people that have no idea and don't listen either. His price might not be too bad but these days I don't have the time, energy or the money to take on stuff like this plus don't even care to spend the time boxing them up and shipping them and/or the hassle of dealing with a buyer that's not happy with them.....but I do appreciate your help on this Dwayne.Strange lengths there.
I’d be expecting to need a shaft relocation kit to end up with decent geometry with those length valves.
I might still have the valves that came out of the damaged heads I finished the repairs of a few years ago.
I think the intakes in those may have been about that long.
That’s basically a “+.250 long” BB Chevy length.
The “normal” length for the Victor intake valves are “+.100 long”.
Edit- looks like I still have those old valves.
There are numbers on them too.....pro comp valves:
4324-8 intake valve, 2.25” dia. 5.494” length
4317-8 exhaust valve, 1.88” dia. 5.552” length
Both technically “too long” imo.
Might want to make sure the intake seats have been cut to accommodate the 2.25” valve.
Either charge him for your time and any materials for packing, or do what I do, point to the bulletin board I put up so that THEY can put up a "For Sale" note and I don't have to deal with anything. Someone comes in and asks about sale items, and I point at the board. I am not going to deal with the haggling crap back and fourth playing "Middle Man". Put up a listing for your crap or just go away...The guy that owns them has decided to sell them and just keep the 906's that were on the engine to start with. If I let them advertise at my place, they still expect me to be the middle man. I have probably been asked that too, but I say that it is between them and the advertiser. I refuse to get involved unless I buy whatever and sell it myself, but I absolutely get where you are coming from, and it gets old quick. If I let them advertise at my place, they still expect me to be the middle man. Charge them a 20% fee for advertising. Then 50% if they want to to sell them. KimIf I let them advertise at my place, they still expect me to be the middle man. Tired of it lol
