That's purdy. I'd throw it on my Coronet any time!

I wouldn't sand anymore. You may have removed the texture as mentioned before. The color looks good in the picture. The original organisol used a metallic to get the texture which gave the slight grey hue to the black.

Thanks for you advice it really was bad before that why I sanded .
I am just using a very fine pad .
Trying to get uniform sand lines if that makes sense in pictures it looks better than up close and personal.
But I think it will pas for a Saturday night cruise night car .
I have a before and after I will post .
I am not sure what they guy used who painted it .

Well, based on The question in the first post and picture it looks good to run.

But now that I see the last post here and before picture I like that too. They did a good job of replicating the textured look it would have had from the factory, just a titch too shiny, but I would have run it that way too!

If the before is on the drivers side, that's probably closer to the original..... according to the picture, and depending on how coarse the texture. And it is a bit too shiny.
In my opinion.... either would have been okay for a non-real-A12.
What you have now looks good!

Transparent Dulling spray could have been applied to get the desired sheen or a satin black from SEMS would be very, very close.

I was thinking about giving it a coat of trim black and dry spraying from a distance ,never used satin black .
I might order some and due som spay cards tests
