Best Looking Car Ever Made

I definitely have got to throw a 55 Chevy in my top-five, one of the most iconic cars ever built. I rank it above the Chevelle’s, the Camaros and the Vettes.

Disregarding the fact this is a Mopar forum, and all opinions are welcome, I’m a little surprised at no mention of a tri-five Chevy or Corvette so far.
Well, if the original question had included "American" in front of the word 'car', then I would have said a midyear - 63-67 - Corvette. Does that count? :)
[followed by, believe it or don't, a second place tie between a 67 Belvedere II and a 70 RoadRunner, then the 65 buick Riviera...]

Choose only one please. I know everyone has thought about what they perceive to be the best looking car ever produced. I am 57 years old and I have had an obsession with cars since I was 4 years old. I have had favorites from time to time but it always comes back to my first love as being the most aesthetically pleasing. 1969 Plymouth roadrunner

since I was about 11 yrs old, there was a 1960 ford drag car that someone in our neiborhood was running, I loved the way that car looked and set, name of the car was Thunder, solid black two door hardtop, amount of chrome, just right, strange for a time of glitz and shiny junk on cars. this was 1960 and 61, still see that car rumbling around the hood in my mind. 1960 ford Starliner tudor hardtop, prettyist car that has ever been built. This one is getting it’s share of love and deservingly so.

Second generation Chargers go something like this, the 68 Charger is clean and mean, the 69 is fine and refined and the 70 is optioned heavenly!

I concur. The ‘67 Belvedere is iconic to me, as this is the car Richard Petty drove to the never broken record of 27 wins in 1967.

Hey look what I posted 2 minutes before you did lol

Just going to say it. The 70 Charger is easily the best looking 2nd Gen. Charger! Better Colors, Better interior, just better options!!!

I tend to agree with you on that, but all three years have their own things about them that make you want all of them! So that is why I have all three years of them! I have four 70 Chargers though, and my parents bought a 70 Charger R/T SE brand new,so maybe I am a bit biased towards the 70 Charger!

I’d love to have them all but right now I’m sending both of my kids through college and my 18 year old boy just started loving older cars. He wanted a Monte SS so I bought him an all original paint and interior 83 except the rims and I’ll probably have to buy the Family’s 55 210 off of my brother to keep it in the family. Yeah I know a couple of Chevys lol but I want my boy to have his own taste but he does loves Mopars also. The Monte was a good buy and a cheaper investment that’s climbing in price.

Over the years, there are only two cars that I regret missing out on, by not pulling the trigger fast enough. The first one was was a 1937 Lincoln Zephyr 3-window coupe. This was in the mid-seventies, and I already had a 1937 Olsmobile 8 sedan and a 1938 Packard Super 8 Formal sedan. The Zephyr was complete with the exception of its V12 engine. It still has all its chrome trim, interior, etc. This was a beautiful Art Deco car in its day. The trunk lid was longer than the hood, and the rear fender skirts were still attached. When I finally called to purchase the Lincoln, it was sold. To this day, I still feel bad about this one. Landing this one could have changed the direction of car collecting for me. I would certainly have sold my other two '30's cars to restore the Zephyr.
The other car that I missed out on was a ten year old 1967 GTX. I worked with the guy that bought this car new. The car was light blue metallic with a dark blue interior. It had a 440 and 4-speed, with Dana 60 rear end. The car was a ten year old Muscle car with minor rust issues on the rear quarters. He agreed to sell it to me cheap, but had to back out of the deal, because his wife 's brother also wanted the car. To avoid family strife, he instead sold it to brother-in-law. The car kicked around town under various ownerships until it was a piece of junk, and got parted out. It deserved a better fate. I now have a 1967 R/T, and think it is beautiful!
