Big Cocke build

The Dana is a 3.54 and the 8 3/4 is a 3.55. They are virtually identical, the difference is because of the different diameters of the ring gear.
Thanks, I think I’ve seen a Dana being called both too. I think it’s also what Dana says vs Chrysler.

Been tied up with a cabin build behind my place, but I did pick up a 46 RH trans for my 470 swap. Got the bellhousing cut off and clearanced the Tailshaft. Going to drop off the case, Ultrabell, and tailshaft this week for powder coating.

In geographical terms, there are quite a few counties in the US with areas of 10k-20k square miles. With only 443 square miles, Tennessee's Cocke is quite small.

That’s what she said

The dash is the reason I searched out a 66 Charger in the first place. I can look at theses gauges for hours…

The time for the next phase is getting close, but I’m having second thoughts. I have a 470 Shortblock, TFS 240 heads, intake, snd the TFS Roller Cam. I also have a 518 trans that has a Ultrabell and has been clearanced to help fit the trans tunnel. Now I’m wondering if I should sell off the big block and go with a 6.4/8 speed trans. Decisions decisions…

The more I drive this thing the more I love it. Just needs more power…. Still can’t decide between a Truck Flow headed 470 or a 6.4 from a Scat Pack. What a moral Dilemma

The simplicity of a built big block would reduce the down time, and you can get back to enjoying the car

There is so much to putting an engine that wasn’t around when the car was built. So many little things, so many dollars.

Keep it cheap, keep it simple, keep it fun. That’s my two cents, and you can either put it in your pocket, or throw in a well

If I do the big block it won’t be simple either as it will have a 518 trans with an ultra bell.
