Biggest tire size on 70 B-body

Hey guys... getting this mopar running soon and was wanting to what size tire you run under the rear without rubbing. I want to go with a 15x10 with a 5 inch back spacing etc. maybe sounds right? Wanting to know if anybody has been down this road before. My leaf springs are in stock locations. I've heard 295/50/15 is the biggest. Any advice or insight would help. Thanks for your time.

I have a friend using the 295 M/T ET Street on a 15 x 10 5 inch backspace wheel. how ever he has installed the DC offset spring hanger to get about 3/4" inch of inside space and he also has his wheel lips rolled. Don't take this wrong, it's very tight. But the car is a limited use street car set up for 1/8 mile drag use, it just does not see much time on the road.

My Super Bee is wearing 295/65/15 on the rear with MP Hemi leaf springs 15x8 weld rim,doesn,t rub. 215/75/15 on front 15x6 rim

tire clearence

295/50/15 68 chrgr. i tempararly removed the rear leaf spring shackles, and carfully lowered the car.this size tire would go into the wheel well with about 3/4" of clearence on the outside and about 1 1/2" on the inside.great fit.these tires are on 15x8 wheels w/ a 0 offset.

Bolt Circle?

Hey thanks for all the information guys. Quick question.. what is the average or closet Bolt Circle on a 70 charger b-body with a 8 3/4 rear end?
