I get over 50 phone calls every day... So I just hit the volume button to shut up the rigging. Or the red button, to turn off the call. But lately the red button doesn't work. And I hit it repeatedly. What gives? Anybody else driven crazy by all these calls? Any suggestions? Or should I get a new number.

On the left side of the phone (Apple), there is a mute button that you can turn the ringer off...

I do block . But they keep calling using different numbers. #%&@*^♧€□~¿¤ !

Spam calls are an epidemic in this country and for whatever reasons, legislation (and subsequent law
enforcement) don't seem real interested in stopping it.
Hell, ISP's are even selling off their customer information anymore - and they're the ones selling that
BS about "protecting you" from it!

My cell is the same number for over 20 years now and it's been pretty spam-free, but my wifes' isn't -
and since we're on the same carrier, I have to believe it's got to do with who we're sharing info with
individually?
Block, block, block seems the only answer for now.

I give out my cell # only to select people....heck, even my doctor's don't have my cell number and that's why I keep my land line! Yeah, it's an added expense but imo, it's worth it.

And people get pissy with us when we delete or edit posts with personal information posted. :BangHead: :BangHead:

Geez Tony, I've been trying to reach you regarding your car's warranty.

Yup! Still getting multiple calls per day. But they are calling less often. As I've been blocking their numbers every chance I get.
But now I'm getting calls that can't be answered or can't hang up on. no matter how many times I hit the buttons. So after it stops ringing. I call the number back and it's can't be completed as dialed or I get a weird fax machine noise or something else and then I can block the number.
What a waste of everyone's time!

There is a silence unknown caller feature on IPhone

I don't have a cell phone but my land line is pretty busy. I have caller ID and most say "spam risk". Hopefully it will calm down after the election since I believe that is what most of them are. I let the answering machine deal with them so I don't answer any I don't recognize. None leave a message so hopefully they will get tired of my message and go away.
