Brake Shoe Size?

1966 440 with 8 3/4 rear.....what size rear brake shoes doe it take? 10" or 11"?

I am sure it all depends on what it was ordered with std or Hd Brakes and engine size i would imagine.
But on this chart it for a 66 Belvedere it shows 10 inch unless it has a Hemi..

if you dont have shoes right now,check the max diameter of the drum or measure the backing plate diameter to find out.most common is 10 inch.there are a few rt and hemi cars with 11 inch,but pretty rare.

Thanks......I would think that this would apply to the Coronet as well. I'm going to assume that they are 10" and with my car having the original 273, I'm thinking it would take the 2 1/2" linings.
