That's the now restored Tim Wellborn/David Spade/Otis Chandler Daytona that just sold for 1.3 Million! You should have bought it back then! It was a Hemi 4 speed Daytona with under 7k original miles on it!

This was the low speed Daytona Charger test car. This car was given a new nosecone,and wing,then was painted to look like the number 88 Daytona Charger that broke the 200 MPH barrier,and was given to the Nascar Muesum as the original number 88 car by Chrysler. For decades the Nascar Muesum believed they had the actual number 88 Daytona Charger which was actually sold to racecar driver Don White who continued to race the car in many different configurations until he retired the car behind his shop in the mid seventies.

When avid wingcar enthusiast Greg Kwiatkowski found the original number 88 behind racecar driver Don White"s shop in Iwoa, there were skeptics,because the original number 88 car was believed to be on display at the Nascar Museum,but several of the Chrysler engineers confirmed that the car Greg had discovered was infact the original number 88 Daytona Charger. The original number 88 car was chassis number DC 93 and the car on display was the former red number 71 low speed test car,chassis number DC 74. It was proven the museum had been duped by Chrysler. This is the number 88 car as found having been reskinned to a 73 Charger.

The original number 88 cars nosecone fenders and hood were found in the woods behind Don's shop.
