There is a very nice Cordoba on the bag right now. It's being sold as a black 300 with T-tops.
This car is very nice but isn't a 300, just a high end Cordoba with the 300 badging. The seller is stating 21,832 miles but it has flipped. The car back in 2008 had 118,621 miles on it. As most know the 79-300 was only available in the US in spinnaker white. There was an appearance group option in Canada that allowed the car to be optioned differently and could be red in color. There are rumors about 1 black one being produced but that has never been confirmed.

Those wheels are not playing along well with the styling of the car, in my opinion.
If marketed to collectors, as mentioned, why invest in wheels that would not appeal to collectors?

I just noticed the car is also missing the "slats"on the front fenders. The previous owner had the Turbine type, Aluminum Fascia, wheels with the XE center caps on it.

Regardless of what it is...it looks nice. I also believe the wheels are nicer than any 15" stuff Chrysler offered. They look good on that beast of a car.

Gotta' love the term "barn find"....LOL

Speedometer shows miles and kms - I wouldn't have thought USA cars had that back in 1979? Would this make the car a Canadian version?
And to me it looks like the car has had a re-spray on the outside with some faux patina work done. If it was "garage Queen" and kept locked up with hardly any miles, how come the engine bay looks so cruddy and scabby?
Definitely Buyer Beware.

IT says E56 on the fender tag should be E58 and Didn't they come with a tach as being standard .

in 79' they did have the mph and km/h at least the trucks did so likely in cars too.

all original paint, my azz!
Agree, that car has been totally repainted, and a very poor job underhood as you noted.

I can't be 100% certain, but I bought a '79 Magnum XE GT brand new and I believe it DID have both MPH and KPH. I put 200,000 miles on that car before I sold it, you would think I would remember well what the speedometer face looked like. Interior was identical to this Cordoba.

As for the speedo all the Cordoba's were manufactured in Windsor Ontario. So yes they are Canadian. The "slats" on the front fenders are missing. This one is a nice Cordoba but definitely not a 300! I know the car has over 100k as back in 2008 it had 118k on it. I was considering buying it then. It has been well taken care of.

Yes agreed, it is a very nice '79. Just slightly misrepresented is all. Thanks for possibly saving someone the pain of finding out they didn't buy what they thought they were buying.
