C piller trim with no vinal top?

has anyone ever seen the c piller trim on a car without a vinal top? In the 80s I had a 69 rr that had the trim but never had a vinal top. It was still original paint so I know it cam that way

2 tone paint would get that trim.

My 1967 Belvedere came that way too.

I think all 66-67s had them, but I've never seen another 69 that had the trim and no vinal top
